You're here, so at least you've been thinking about the fact that bullying is a pretty big problem. You're right, it is! But what can you do about it? You can do a lot!

Whether you are being bullied, you have seen kids being bullied, or you're pretty sure you have bullied others, there are plenty of good things you can do to help make sure it doesn't happen again. No matter how you've been affected by bullying, it's a good idea to talk to an adult. Even though it's hard to talk to grown-ups sometimes, they can help!

Eco-Art Gallery by the Sea

Public Group February 10, 2008

bmcferren

The Environmental Coalition Of Miami Beach (ECOMB) officially launches the Eco-Art Gallery by the Sea Campaign to out-pace the rate of litter on Miami Beach from Government Cut through 23rd Street. Business and resident stewards who care about the environmental and economic implications of clean beaches can work with local artists to decorate the top seven inches of the 204 trash cans located on the sand. Funds raised from the campaign are used to underwrite clean-up and educational projects provided by ECOMB, The City of Miami Beach, and Miami Dade County. Sponsorships are honored with an accreditation plaque on the trash can that features a participant's logo. Beach trashcans serve as an aesthetic complement to the vibrancy of our beach community in many ways, including an invitation for beach patrons to use them.
