ydia: RE: Classroom Instruction and Curriculum Design: I need to do more explicit teaching of/ learning activities focused on the HOM. I tend to focus on other ideas and use HOM peripherally(?). Do the occasional explicit lesson/activity, but since it is kindergarten and the language is new I need to consciously direct their attention towards these behaviors and language.

RE: Parents and Community: Maybe we need and HOM/P4C booklet we distribute to all families at Waikiki School informing them in print about what HOM and P4C are all about and what we do at the school to learn about and develop these habits and skills.

Create HOM and P4C events for families--( Variety Show could be C&C and Risk-taking night).
