Hey all,
I just joined--so I too am a new member. I had a sudden career change this year. I now find myself as the library media specialist in Ridgewood, NJ. I love my job so far, but I have been forced to quickly learn many of the technology aspects of education. My old school's technology just wasn't reliable, so it was more of a pain to actually do anything. Integrating technology for me as a classroom teacher meant creating two lesson--one for the technology and one in case it failed. I feel this a problem for many teachers--they just don't know how to integrate, nor do they have time to learn. That was the case with me. Look forward to chatting with you all.
