As a pre-service teacher I have been considering the idea of teaching sportsmanship to my students. For example as of late I have noticed at various school games there is that occasional BOO, and such. It’s bothersome to me to see adults screaming and setting this example. It’s important for teachers to address the basics regarding good sportsmanship in order to avoid the humiliation that follows a student’s missed shot, or goal.
