workshops for conferences
Hi Dr. Z, You had mentioned trying to submit a workshop to various conferences to get some experience teaching teachers. It sounds like a great idea. I have to admit I don't have the first idea how to go about it. I imagine you email a resume, your workshop, and a cover letter to the address listed on the conference. But do you have any other tips. I am sure I am not the only person who would like to know that. I'm great at school and horrible at job humting! (lol )

Hey there! You only need to hunt down which conferences have calls for proposals. Be careful that you aren't paying hefty admission fees to attend to present (some conferences will accept anyone who is willing to pay their hundreds of dollars in fees). I think NJAET is currently accepting submissions. Check out the website and click on Presenter Sign-Up (http://www.njaet.org/). You can also search the web for local conferences that still have open submissions. Think in termsw of your subject area as well as technology. Also consider the NJEA conference!
