Report Discussion as Inappropriate / SpamFirst Day of School---Getting a Technology Plan Started
George,
It has been my experience that principals often pass this off to their assistant principals. There are general two reasons: principals lack the technology knowledge and they do not have the ability to commit to the time investment required. However, when principals are involved, technology programs within the school are much more effective. I wonder what others take on the stakeholders?
Hi!
I was asked to join my school's Tech. Planning Comit.
Where can I go to find an outline of what we should be aksing about upgrading our technology?
Regards,
Ursula

Hey Nancy,
August 14, 2006, 12:00 am [ report as inappropriate ]I would start with the media specialist, prinicipal, and a teacher from each grade level. It would also be very helpful to have a couple of key parents on board. Perhaps the principal need not be on the committee if s/he trusts the staff and understands committee decision making!
