Teaching Social Skills
A school in NC has placed teaching social skills into their curriculum. I see the need but I do have to ask, "What are the parents teaching?" This school also began teaching a curriculum on personal finance. The idea behind this class is so students know how to add and subtract (reconciling a bank statement) when they graduate. Seriously? Educators - are our students that academically low? Do share with me your thoughts.
