Responsive Classroom Group

This group is made up of teachers who attended the RC1 Institute from 7/24-7/28. The purpose is to allow us to network once we get back to class and start using Responsive Classroom (tm). Let's share ideas and resources that make math fun and even easy! For instance, my middle school studnets absolutely loved it when I taught them a short-cut for multiplying by 5 (divide by 2 and move the decimal to the right one place). They so loved it - we did more and I believe it really helped their confidence and enjoyment of math.
