Private Group September 24, 2008This is where I can write about my experiences in studying to become a library media specialist.
This group will discuss the movie site Brainpop! Brainpop was introduced to me by one of my colleagues. I find the videos to be right up the alley of Middle Schoolers. The graphics are great, videos use humor, useful information, review quizzes and students love to watch it.

Digital Storytelling Technology
Private Group June 19, 2008This group will be initially formed for teachers in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, where I am a teacher of Spanish. The main focus is digital storytelling technology.
We will also welcome teachers from other district who are interested in infusing their lessons with digital storytelling, authentic learning, and exploring global cultural experiences.
Now that the election is over, I thought I would change this group to a "Change Education" tracking group.

Whether you are being bullied, you have seen kids being bullied, or you're pretty sure you have bullied others, there are plenty of good things you can do to help make sure it doesn't happen again. No matter how you've been affected by bullying, it's a good idea to talk to an adult. Even though it's hard to talk to grown-ups sometimes, they can help!
Each week the staff at Teachade.com picks it favorite YouTube educational video for the home page. If you have missed one, you can always find them in this group.
